Working in a new location!

My husband and I recently moved from the bowl of the San Simon valley up into the foothills of the Chiricahua mountain range, just in time for monsoon. It's a beautiful time of year to live here with the ever changing landscapes providing plenty of inspiration for painting. The picture I've included in this blog is just one of the stunning views we have from our new home. Wait until you see some of the sunsets! While it is different from Monet's green gardens and water lilies I like to think he would find inspiration in the way the light plays across the mountains, just as I do.
