A Monsoon Sunset

Speaking of those sunset's in the last blog made me more aware of wanting to catch just the right picture to share the beauty I see every day. A lot of people think that the southwest, particularly a desert valley, might be tan and dusty; I see vivid color and life. The dramatic colors will only improve as monsoon nears. It's my favorite season to watch the sunsets with my husband and our dogs. A nice cold drink, some music playing and a view of the mountains is the perfect end of the day for me. It leaves me incredibly inspired the next day when I get to work. I feel so fortunate to live in a place that constantly fuels my artwork with such stunning visuals.
